感謝Daisy的一篇大作(http://daisy-lancashire.blogspot.com/)，令我不單知道女性衣著的奧妙， 最後，我好鍾意電車，唔好侮辱佢。

跟了個旅行團去維也納，話哂音樂之都，夜晚扮有文化，拉了太座同一眾團友去聽一場在美泉宮嘅古典CONCERT。

不過，個男高音一出場已覺唔妥，聲線混濁，亦不響亮，個場ACOUSTIC已經唔係太好，令人聽得好唔舒服。女高音亦都去唔到佢要去嘅高音。

好快，就聽到有一點點鼻鼾聲。

上下半場原各有45分鐘，點知上半場30分鐘就搞掂，那位想瞓耐少少嘅人兄被迫起身，然後在場外留言冊上寫佐四個字﹕非常失望。

 

佢聽過幾多至瞓著我唔知，但我相信係好多人嘅心聲。

 

聽埋下半場，都係30分鐘，總結係5人室樂團技巧OK，但歌劇部分頗差，最好嘅竟然係芭蕾舞，但我係來聽音樂嘅。最大問題係選曲甚偏，我聽得少，可能不應如此說，但有這評語嘅係一位有20年經驗嘅鋼琴老師團友。

 

在場觀眾雖說係香港同內地團友佔一半，但亦有白種人觀眾，因此樂團以此水準暗寸大國“疙”起嘅機會唔高，但係大家都明，做旅遊少不免食祖宗老本，維也納唔可以咁樣做壞自己個名。不過，大家若有機會跟團，這個節目可以免了，因為都幾貴。

原來查字典係好困難嘅事，至少以國內而言。

睇完靚媽囡囡最近學畫畫的趣事後，想起一段童年往事。可能是小弟一生人第一個深刻記憶。

話說小弟當年在九龍區某男名校山腳下的一間幼稚園返學(不要誤會，那不是一條龍升小中學，我亦只係幾十歲時至知那仍然健在的幼稚園是在那名校之下)，當年做下低B班學生是不用像今日的幼稚園生一般要背乘數表及記榴槤的兩種英文串法，所以活動不外乎唱唱歌仔食食餅瞓瞓覺，其中一樣我最喜歡的，是畫公仔。

結果那日就畫出火了。

那日我們畫什麼題目已經冇印象，但肯定有一個太陽。三歲定八十，我係一個現實嘅人，喜歡畫野但畫藝自小一般，所以，我只以三四歲對日光嘅感覺，將它畫成黃色。搣時一見就問:

「呀狗仔，做MUG將個太陽油成黃色呀?」

「我見佢係黃色就係黃色囉。」

「唔啱，係紅色嘅，快啲油番紅佢。」

「但搣時，我見個太陽同佢啲光真係黃色噃。」

(好惡咁)「O靚仔，我話紅就係紅，快啲油番佢，唔係唔使旨意放學﹗」

現實嘅小朋友只好將嗰個明明係黃色嘅太陽油成紅色，亦因此可以準時放學，但自此之後，對於干預創作嘅事，都有一股莫名嘅反感 (同類事件喺小學時又嚟一鑊)。同埋，以後响博物館見到藝術家畫五顏六色嘅太陽，都會想笑。

N年後同一位老友傾開呢件事，大家都一致認為，呢位搣時應該係共產黨的。

According to T.L. Tsim's 'Cultures and Civilizations' series*, being critical and being cynical are very different: being critical is like Thomas's doubt about Jesus's resurrection. When he saw Jesus standing before him with the wounds in his hands, he became silent (according to the Gospel of St John). That's the spirit of science: you look at the facts and find out the logics between them, which requires very careful and sharp reasoning.

Being cynical is to add your own subjective judgment into the fact, and this judgment is always negative, even if not malicious. When Premier Wen attended those in deep water and boosted the spirit of the rescuing staff, these people would say that he was throwing off a big show. If he did not do so, he would of course be more strongly criticized as having no heart. That's exactly the same as showing a sense of disdain to those tycoons who make huge donations to the society, judging that what they are doing is just for their own fame but not for the sake of society. That's how the society is harmed: one who wants to contribute his wealth will be balked because he thinks every one would consider his good act as something with an actually selfish, or even disgraceful purpose.

Those who have not stood on the most badly hurt grounds have no right to criticize whether Premier Wen's act was a show. At least the morale has been boosted, and he looks a lot older after the trip.

What the people are doing now shows that China has not fully lost her virtue in the rocketing growth, and in the long run, this disaster may make her really stand up in front of the world. What makes me sad is that there are still people around us who disdain the rich and discriminate the poor.
